From 2000 - 2010 , which year was your favorite year for anime shows ?

That’s a tough question … First of all, it’s tough because my memory isn’t so great, so I have to remember what anime was playing in what year. Secondly, it’s tough because, as I’ve said before, I’ve only been watching anime for a few years now. So at best, I have from about Fall of 2007 to present to judge from.

That said, I’d have to say that the best year for anime was probably 2006, a year before I started watching anime. You had “The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi,” “Ghost Hunt,” “Death Note,” “Ergo Proxy,” “Black Lagoon,” “XXXholic”, “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time” and “Paprika” to name a few for that year. While there have been some fantastic seasons since then, I don’t think there have been whole years since that could topple 2006 from it’s height of awesomeness.
